Fans of British rock band Coldplay are eagerly awaiting their upcoming shows in Mumbai as part of the "Music Of The Spheres World Tour 2025." After regular tickets for the three scheduled performances sold out very quickly, many fans are now pinning their hopes on a limited offer called "Infinity Tickets." These special tickets are designed to provide fans with the opportunity to attend the concert at a significantly reduced price, a move by the band to make their shows more accessible.

What are Coldplay's Infinity Tickets? Infinity Tickets are a unique initiative by Coldplay, offering concert entry at just 20 euros (approximately Rs 2,000) per ticket. Fans must purchase them in pairs, and the seats are randomly assigned throughout the venue. This means that ticket holders could end up anywhere in the stadium, from the back row to the best seats on the floor.

The goal is to give more fans a chance to experience the show without breaking the bank. For those looking to secure these highly coveted Infinity Tickets, they will go on sale starting November 22, 2024. To ensure they don't miss out, fans can sign up for alerts on Coldplay's official website, which will notify them ahead of the sale.

Fans need to fill in their emails and name at Coldplay's website (https://infinity.coldplay.com/).

These tickets are expected to sell out quickly, especially given the massive demand for the band’s shows worldwide. Since the launch of the "Music Of The Spheres World Tour" in March 2022, Coldplay has sold over 10 million tickets globally, performing in major cities such as Abu Dhabi, Seoul, Hong Kong, and soon, Mumbai. Due to overwhelming demand, Coldplay recently added a third show in Mumbai, scheduled for January 21, 2025, at DY Patil Sports Stadium.

The original two shows, set for January 18 and 19, sold out almost instantly, leaving many fans disappointed. To handle the massive surge in demand, the band announced the additional show just hours after tickets for the first two shows sold out. BookMyShow files police complaint against resellers The announcement of the third show came after numerous reports of technical issues on the BookMyShow platform, the official ticketing partner for Coldplay’s India concerts.

The website and app experienced crashes as millions of fans attempted to buy tickets, with some fans stuck in virtual queues for hours. BookMyShow reported that 1.3 crore fans logged in at the same time to buy tickets.

Despite the technical hiccups, BookMyShow called the event a "landmark moment" in India's live entertainment history. According to a spokesperson, the level of fandom and enthusiasm for Coldplay’s concerts was unprecedented, highlighting just how eager Indian fans are to see the band perform live. BookMyShow warning Amid the excitement, BookMyShow also issued a warning to fans regarding unauthorized resale platforms.

The company emphasized that many third-party sellers, including resellers on platforms like Viagogo and other unauthorized sites, are listing fake tickets for the Coldplay tour in India. They urged fans to avoid these platforms, as any tickets purchased through unauthorized sources would be invalid and likely counterfeit. Coldplay's return to India is highly anticipated, especially since the band last performed in the country in 2016 as part of the Global Citizen Festival in Mumbai.

Formed in 1997, the band consists of lead vocalist Chris Martin, guitarist Jonny Buckland, bassist Guy Berryman, and drummer Will Champion. Over the years, they have delivered numerous chart-topping hits, including "A Sky Full of Stars," "Viva la Vida," "In My Place," and "Don’t Panic," all of which are expected to be part of the 2025 setlist.
