Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) provides a range of lounges for passengers seeking relaxation and comfort during their travels. Each lounge has unique amenities designed to cater to different traveler needs, whether for business or leisure. Following is a detailed EWR lounge guide and instructions on how to access them.

Customers in First or Business on a qualifying departing or arriving international, transcontinental, or other domestic flight marketed and operated by American, a one world airline or marketed by Aer Lingus and operated by American. British Airways Lounge Terminal B, near gates B50-58 Daily: 04:30–08:00 and 15:15–21:30 British Airways passengers with lounge access : Flying on a scheduled flight in Club or First Silver and Gold Executive Club members on scheduled flights operated by British Airways or one of our one world partners Emerald and Sapphire members of any one world airline frequent flier program on a scheduled flight operated by British Airways or one of their one world partners, a Sapphire or Emerald members, are welcome to invite one single guest per departure flight. Member's guests must travel on British Airways or one of our one world partners.

British Airways connects the US to London, offering comfortable transatlantic flights on the Boeing 777. Delta Sky Club Terminal A, near gate A8 Open Sunday through Friday, 05:00–20:00 Open Saturday, 05:00–18:30 Last year, the fifth Delta Sky Club opened at Newark’s Terminal A. The airline’s new 7,000-plus-square-foot space seats over 200 guests.

Passengers with access to the Delta Sky Club when traveling on Delta: Customers ticketed on a same-day domestic Delta One flight Customers ticketed in Delta One on a same-day international Delta flight or on a domestic flight connecting to/from a same-day international Delta One flight Delta SkyMiles Reserve and Reserve Business Basic and Reserve Additional Card Members receive complimentary access to Delta Sky Club when traveling on a same-day Delta-marketed or Delta-operated flight. Customers can access Delta Sky Clubs anytime within three hours of their scheduled departure time. Customers traveling on a same-day international first or business class ticket on a SkyTeam-operated flight must qualify for Club access.

Annual memberships to Delta Sky Club are available for purchase to Medallion members of the Delta Sky Miles Program. “This lounge is a true product of its environment – both in the airport and the surrounding Newark area,” said Claude Roussel, Vice President of Sky Clubs and Lounge Experience. “Our team has used thoughtful design touches to create a welcoming, relaxing space in the middle of a busy terminal.

We can’t wait for Newark guests to discover this lounge for themselves and experience our signature Delta Sky Club hospitality.” Lufthasa Allegris Lounge Terminal B, near gate 60 in concourse B3 Daily, 14:15–21:30 The Lufthansa Lounge closed for renovation and has debuted as the airline's first Allegris lounge . Lufthansa staff are available in the reception area to help with passenger requests and provide information about their lounge stay or flight.

Passengers can indulge at the lounge buffet, which offers beverages and fresh food. Freshen up with their spacious shower cubicles, fresh hand towels, and hair dryers. In the Comfort Zone, passengers can choose to lounge on benches for a quick sit-down or a seat at a table to dine.

The Lufthansa lounge offers excellent views of the runway. Lufthansa’s Premium passengers are granted access to selected lounges worldwide . Entry requires Miles & More status or travel class and a valid boarding pass for the respective lounge location.

The Star Alliance carrier reopens the lounge as it expands its presence in the US significantly this summer. Travelers holding a Star Alliance Business ticket enjoy free lounge access at departure when presenting a same-day boarding pass in business class on a Star Alliance-operated flight. United Club Mezzanine level, near gate C123, 05:00–22:30 daily Terminal C, upper level, near gate C74, 05:00–22:30 daily Terminal A, upper level, near gate A27, 05:00–21:15 daily Passengers traveling in United Polaris business class, United Business, United First, and United Premium Plus can access United Clubs . United Polaris Lounge Terminal C, between Gates C102 and C120 Daily 05:00 - 22:30 daily The United Polaris Lounge is reserved exclusively for passengers traveling in Polaris business class on United for a long-haul international flight. Newark Liberty International Airport In March, the Board of Commissioners of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey approved $160 million for the design and construction of the EWR Station Access project , intending to improve transit accessibility for underserved Newark and Elizabeth neighborhoods.
