Archbishop Innocent Ochei is the President of New Dimension Seminaries as well as the President, New Day Ministerial Association Inc. He spoke with EJIKEME OMENAZU on his ministerial activities, especially his call to missionary activities across the globe. Could you please tell us about your ministry? My ministry is teaching.
I teach on two platforms. The first is that I am the President of New Dimension Seminaries International. We run training programmes for gospel ministers.
We deliberately use the word seminaries because we are actually a group of small Bibles Schools collaborating and working together. It has been on since 1996 and we have raised about 15,000 pastors via full-time and part-time courses. That is my main plank.
The second thing I do is that I preside over the New Day Ministerial Association Inc. We are an association of clergy people who believe in helping one another to fulfil the Great Commission. Our main goal is how to help fellow pastors fulfil the Great Commission.
It is binding on every pastor not to be a local champion, but to be a global citizen, taking the gospel from nation to nation. God did not call us to be domiciled at a place. But, today people are content to be at a place to minister to one million people, take their pictures and put them on Facebook and feel important.
