Gone are the days of hard-bound notebooks and calculators to plan out weddings. The new trend is to creatively put tech tools into use to organise and budget for a wedding. Dhaval Singh , an engineer recently gained the attention of the internet for using tech tools like Jira and Google Sheets to organize his big day.

He shared some screengrabs of his wedding planning board which he created with his fiancée to manage various tasks invitation cards and pre-wedding photoshoots to guest gifts and outfits. As per his X bio, Dhaval Singh, a graduate of Bits Pilani, is a lead founding Engineer at Seezo. Jira, typically used in workplaces for project management, was repurposed by Singh to create a to-do list for his wedding.



The planning originally began with his fiancée creating a Google spreadsheet called the wedding sheet, but Singh soon realized it wasn’t scalable enough for a large Indian wedding. So, he transitioned their planning to Jira, where they could track everything more effectively. Named the " Aditi-Dhaval Wedding Board," the post has gained over 6.
