In the past, the much-anticipated Next Boxing Day sale has seen long queues outside the nation's stores in the early hours of December 26. However, since 2021, the fashion and homeware chain has kept its shops shut on Boxing Day and Christmas Day to give its staff a well-earned break. This is the case again this year and those wishing to bag an early bargain can shop online from Sunday, December 24.

Next made the decision to close the stores over Christmas last year to give their staff a well-earned break. There are three branches in Suffolk located at Beardmore Park in Martlesham Heath, at Charter Square in Bury St Edmunds and at North Quay Retail Park in Lowestoft. The Next store which previously existed in Ipswich Suffolk Retail Park closed in February..
