The Michigan natives had grown up in neighboring towns near Grand Rapids: Brooke, 24, was from Granville, and Noah, 25, was raised just south in Byron Center. They began dating while they were seniors in high school and, a few years later, got married.

One day, after the couple learned they were expecting a daughter, they were going through their baby books and memory boxes when Brooke noticed something strange. "I recognized all these kids Noah was in preschool with, and then he recognized a bunch from my class," Brooke tells PEOPLE exclusively. Brooke Krupiczewicz Related: Puzzled, Brooke called her parents to find out more about her preschool class.

She knew she'd attended preschool in the afternoon, while Noah had gone in the morning. However, the couple had never discussed their preschool experiences. Later that day, her parents sent her a video of her preschool graduation, which included all of the students from both the morning and afternoon classes — and it all clicked.

"Sure enough, Noah was two rows behind me," Brooke says. "It was so strange that we were that close to each other and now we're married." "It was such an odd moment.

It made us wonder how many times in our lives we might have crossed paths before we actually met," she adds. "What would our lives have been like if we had met earlier? Would we have ended up together sooner, or would things have turned out differently? It was a strange moment of what could have been." Recently, Brooke came across other couples posting what they call their "invisible strings" on , which inspired her to share her story.

She never expected it to go viral, but one week after posting, she was shocked to see her video had almost 500,000 views. Looking through the comments, she says it's fun learn about other couples' surprise connections to their spouses. "I showed [Noah] the post to get his approval before sharing it.

I always want to make sure he's okay with me posting pictures of him, but he thought it was cute," Brooke says. "Neither of us expected it to gain so much attention. It was funny to see him keep checking TikTok and say, 'Did you see how many views it has?' It just kept going up, and he was excited about that.

" Brooke Krupiczewicz Related: Since then, the couple has continued to search for other invisible strings they may have — including looking through summer photos from high school to see if we were in the background of each other's pictures. So far, they haven't found anything else. Brooke says, "It just shows that everything seems to work out as it's meant to.

Yes, I could have met him in preschool and we could have grown up together, but we were meant to meet when we were 17 and 18. "Now, we've built this beautiful life together, been married for three years, and have our little baby," she adds. "Had we known each other before then, maybe it wouldn’t have worked out the same way.
