Noida: The proposed ‘American City' near Noida International Airport will combine industry, luxury housing and state-of-the-art educational and entertainment facilities. A manufacturing hub — with industries from semiconductors to AI and healthcare to hospitality — it is expected to create over 10,000 job opportunities too. A vision document prepared by Blue Sky Vantage — a US consultancy firm that assists American companies in expanding into new markets — proposes to develop the hub over 1,200 acres across four sectors — 22D, 22E, 5, and 5A.
It proposes to house over 4,000 residential units and an educational centre — American Leadership Academy International (ALAI) — that will have an equestrian training centre, a 150-acre golf course and a performing arts complex among other sports and educational facilities. The residential project — Imagine UP — proposes to have houses for the employees hired at its industrial units, high-end golf community and luxury apartments too. It also proposes to feature a three-acre park, a community hall and a high-end American grocery store.
According to the vision document, the leadership academy will come up in two phases and enrol around 3,000 students from pre-nursery to class 12. In the first phase, the centre will have a concert hall and performing arts complex, an indoor sports complex, besides aquatic and equestrian centres.
