I would need to look at the projected costs and benefits before this vote to ensure that the people of Montana are protected from increased taxes.

2. State Government is primarily funded by income tax collections. By reducing the tax burden and regulations on businesses, business owners would spend less time on government red tape, and have more resources for expanding & improving business, leading to more job opportunities, which leads to more workers and more tax base.



The legislature should consider a tax on the purchase of luxury items (but no sales tax on everyday essential items). With these other tax collections, property taxes could be reduced. 3.

To keep the cost of rentals affordable, a reduction in property taxes and other taxes and fees levied on owners of rental properties, needs to occur. Reducing unnecessary regulations and oversight from the government will help keep building costs down, making new home construction more affordable. Many small businesses are losing their employees, in part, because those workers cannot afford housing in some regions of Montana.

To help with this, I propose to provide tax breaks and waiving of building permit fees to businessmen who build housing units for their employees. 4. Voters c.
