Marriott Luxury Brands Team Up With Sotheby’s “Iconic Pieces.



Extraordinary Experiences” is the name of the new collaboration between Marriott and Sotheby's. Bridging the worlds of travel, art and luxury, Marriott’s top brands (The Ritz-Carlton, Ritz-Carlton Reserve, Bvlgari Hotels & Resorts, St. Regis Hotels & Resorts, EDITION, The Luxury Collection, JW Marriott and W Hotels) are now showcasing their creativity through this new partnership with Sotheby’s auction house.

Travelers can access unique experiences that are available from the company’s famous auction house. Packages include things like José Andrés Group-led whiskey tastings at The Ritz-Carlton New York, NoMad to Alexander McQueen-designed fashion tours in London with a two night stay at the EDITION. Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi Adds New Chef Series The first Sofitel Legend in the world named one of its restaurants after Angelina Jolie.

Top Michelin-starred chefs from around the world will descend upon the iconic Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi ( the first of seven Sofitel Legend properties to be in the collection) to join onsite culinary events at Le Beaulieu. This French dining room has been a Hanoi favorite for nearly a decade hosting royalty, diplomats and celebrities for it’s a la carte and multi-course set menu wine pairings. This is all part of an elevation of the restaurant overall with new chefs joining the permanent team.

Also new is the Habanos Lounge designation (a top accolade from the cigar brand for its most prestigious locations) for the cigar bar within Angelina, the restaurant named for actress Angeline Jolie after her stay here. Laguna Lang Co Resort Has Edible Golf Course Four-legged golf course guests do the eating here. Dubbed an edible golf course, but not necessarily for humans, Laguna Lang Co resort in Vietnam is not stopping there.

More than a dozen bird species gather here to feed, including several rare bird types like the Bar-Bellied Pitta and Davison’s Leaf Warbler. This has drawn both golfers and birdwatchers to the two luxury Accor resorts, Banyan Tree and Angsana, are only part of the draw to this membership course that brings golfers from around the world to its challenging course. It has held the EarthCheck Gold Certification for nine years running.

Hyatt Adds Sleep Centric Programming, Grows Workout Offering Earn points for working out at Hyatt All Hyatt hotels in Australia and New Zealand have a new collaboration with Nancy H. Rothstein, known as the “Sleep Ambassador,” who provides sleep tips and amenities to encourage sound rest. Guests also receive a welcome sleep ritual pack.

This is in addition to the recent announcement’s around Hyatt’s well-being and workout programming. Twenty six Hyatt Regency hotels and resorts now offer complimentary guided virtual workout classes via personal training platform Future. They are designed for each hotel’s own fitness center and onsite equipment.

After completing a workout, guests receive one month of free virtual workouts to enjoy after their stay. Hyatt has also announced the ability to earn World of Hyatt points when working out on one of its hotels’ Peloton machines at one of 400 participating hotels. Earlier this year, Hyatt also inked a partnership with MasterClass offering guests in-room access to lessons around a variety of subjects.

Personal Shoppers At Four Seasons Astir Palace Four Seasons Astir Palace adds more amenities for the season. Guests staying in specialty suites at this Athenian riviera resort now have access to personal shoppers who can help them navigate their preferred purchases at Astir Marina, fresh from a $55 million renovation. This includes after-hours access to its luxury stores like Bottega Veneta, Dior, Louis Vuitton and Gucci, or the option for private in-suite showcases by representatives and private shoppers from the most elite fashion brands.

Specialty suites also enjoy perks like airport welcomes, dedicated breakfast chefs and private pool cabanas. TIA Wellness Resort Adds More Wellness Classes A more active focus on wellness is now on the roster for guests. As part of its growing spa programming, TIA Wellness Resort in Danang, Vietnam added another yoga and workout room, a host of new more intense exercise classes and breathwork workshops.
