You might know Irish company Staycity for its proliferation of short-stay aparthotels in Dublin — or perhaps the name’s familiar because it’s been a sponsor emblazoned on Dublin GAA jerseys since 2023. What you may not know is that, outside of Ireland, the company operates a slightly fancier sister brand called Wilde (yes, named for Oscar). Its aparthotels are more design-led, and there are currently seven Wilde Aparthotels — in Berlin, Edinburgh, Manchester, and four in London — with an eighth due to open in Cambridge next year.
We checked into its newest addition, the 106-room Liverpool Street branch, which opened in September and offers a mix of studios and one-bed apartments..
