ORLANDO, FL – Hotel Landy, Orlando’s premier Tribute Portfolio hotel and Universal Partner Hotel, announces the appointment of Jason Johnson as its new Director of Sales. The announcement coincides with a period of significant growth in Orlando, including the highly anticipated 2025 opening of Universal Epic Universe.
Strategically located in the heart of the I-Drive corridor, Hotel Landy is positioned to serve the increasing number of leisure and business travelers drawn to the area. Johnson brings extensive experience from his leadership roles at prominent Florida properties. Most recently, he served as Director of Sales and Catering at the Grand Bohemian Hotel in downtown Orlando, where he led key initiatives to enhance the property’s profile.
Before that, Johnson was Director of Sales at Margaritaville Resort Orlando, guiding its pre-opening strategy and navigating the post-pandemic hospitality recovery. His career began as a room service and banquet server while attending Arizona State University. Johnson’s path evolved through roles at prestigious resorts in Scottsdale, Lake Tahoe, and Coeur d’Alene.
He also spent 12 years with HelmsBriscoe, culminating in his role as Managing Director for Florida. In his new position, Johnson will oversee Group and Catering Sales initiative.
