The study included 9,000 adults, who were asked to fill out a questionnaire about their coffee and tea-drinking habits, while the researchers examined their brains through scans. Coffee intake had little to no effect on preventing cognitive decline, but the results did show that drinking green tea, especially three or more glasses a day, could prevent the onset of dementia. This isn’t the first time scientists have discovered the positives to drinking green beverages, as previous studies have also produced similar findings.
