Residents can take a trip to an historical English city with a heritage group later this year. Horwich Heritage is hosting the outing to Chester on Saturday, September 14 this year. One of the oldest cities in the country, it was established as a Roman fortress in the first century.
The heritage group will be leaving at 9am and returning at 5.30pm on the day, taking a coach to the historic city.
