Thursday, October 3, 2024 Hope Air will be celebrated across Newfoundland and Labrador on November 5th as communities come together to proclaim the day as Hope Air Day. Cities and towns including St. John’s, Portugal Cove-St.

Philips, Paradise, Gander, Corner Brook, Stephenville, Channel – Port Aux Basques, and Labrador City will issue proclamations to honor the organization’s vital role in ensuring access to specialty medical care. Regardless of financial circumstances or location, Hope Air has been instrumental in providing equitable healthcare access for over 38 years by offering free travel and accommodations to patients in need of medical treatment far from home. This recognition reflects the essential service Hope Air provides, helping countless individuals reach necessary care and improving health outcomes for those living in remote parts of the province.
