From 21 January to 7 February 2025, the resort unveils a thoughtfully crafted programme to welcome the Year of the Serpent, celebrating time-honoured traditions through meaningful and immersive experiences. At the heart of the festivities is the much-anticipated ‘Flavours of China’ culinary pop-up event, returning for its second year.
Spearheaded by Chef Charles Liu, Chinese Executive Chef at Jumeirah Guangzhou, whose career spans over two decades at prestigious five-star hotels and grand banquets, Chef Liu and his team present an exquisitely designed six-course menu. Guests can savour dishes such as Typhoon Shelter Crispy Fried Oysters and Deep-sea Grouper Broth, alongside mains including slow-cooked Abalone with Fish Maw or braised Maldivian Lobster with Caviar. The menu continues with pan-fried Australian MB9 Wagyu Beef and steamed Alaskan King Crab Leg, concluding with a refreshing Raspberry Cheesecake and tropical fruits.
Elevating this dining experience further, a curated selection of fine Chinese wines will be available to complement each course, ensuring a memorable feast for the senses. The culinary celebrations extend with an array of seasonal dining experiences. Begin the day with an Asian-inspired floating breakfast, a vibrant medley of flavours enjoye.
