The Homes Under The Hammer presenter, 61, took to social media on Monday night and issued a heartfelt plea to the public. The BBC favourite explained he was raising money for homelessness and urged his followers to donate to the cause as he raised money for charity.
The dad-of-two urged the public to help him reach his £1,000 target as he asked for words of encouragement as he took to the streets to spend some of the night "sleeping rough" in Bristol. "I've got a sleeping bag and all other sorts of bits and pieces to try and make it slightly better. But at the end of the day, I know how hard this is going to be. It's freezing cold.
It's November. It's terrible. "But it's all to raise awareness for the homeless.
I get the choice every once and a while but there are people that don't have that choice." His social media fans rushed to comment on the post, as one person declared: "You are a [star]. Wish I was in the UK to bring you a hot todd.
