The actress, 46, who played Cindy Cunningham on Hollyoaks for nearly three decades until she was axed earlier this year , secretly married her partner Tom Thornton-Brookes in a lavish Maldives ceremony in July.
And over the weekend, she celebrated with Corrie star Alison King at her belated hen do, an event that traditionally takes place before the wedding. Stephanie showed off her chic sense of style in a pretty black shift dress with a white scalloped hem, as she showed off her new hairstyle. Alongside a snap of herself and Alison, she wrote on Instagram: 'Hen do! Second wedding impending!!!' After being together for almost four years Stephanie and Tom tied-the-knot at the five star Ifuru Island resort after a last minute decision. In photos published by OK! Magazine , the actress looked stunning in an A-line gown with a fitted bustier and embroidered detailing. Steph’s daughters, Mia, 18, and Lexi, 13, were not present at their wedding, but she made sure to FaceTime them to show off her gown.
She told the publication: 'When we booked this holiday to the Maldives, Tom said: "Do you want to get married?" and I just replied, "Yeah."' Tom explained: 'I was having a look online at where we were staying and I saw they did weddings. I’m quite an impromptu person in some senses, so it just felt right.
We just jumped at this chance.' The happy news came after heartbreak for Stephanie when she was told by Hollyoaks bosses that she was being axed. The show has become the latest soap to be hit by stringent budget cuts, as it's reported they are planning to reduce their workforce by 40 per cent.

I'm really going to miss these people.' She continued how she has to be positive otherwise she would 'just gonna go another way.' Stephane continued: 'For me it just important to keep showing up with a smile on my face, but I'm really going to miss everyone and it's really getting closer now till I have to say goodbye properly.
