Hollyoaks star Stephanie Waring has officially tied the knot with Tom Thornton-Brookes, sorting the ‘legal bit’ just one month after the pair’s secret wedding . The actress, who plays the iconic Cindy Cunningham , confirmed last month that she’d married fiancé Tom during a beautiful ceremony on a beach in the Maldives. The TV legend, who has been a regular cast member of the Channel 4 soap on and off since 1996, revealed at the time that she and Tom were already planning to take a holiday but decided last minute to tie the knot.

‘When we booked this holiday to the Maldives, Tom said “Do you want to get married?” and I just replied, “Yeah.”‘ she told OK! Magazine at the time. Tom then explained: ‘I was having a look online at where we were staying and I saw they did weddings.

’ The happy couple opted to have no guests at the intimate ceremony but Steph had a heartfelt call with her daughters, Mia, 18, and Lexi, 13, before she walked down the aisle.
