A hoaxer is being hunted by police after a massive emergency services response at a train station in the Black Country last night. Police and scores of paramedics - including the air ambulance - had rushed to Bloxwich Train Station 'following reports of a casualty on the tracks.' An ambulance, two paramedic officers, two MERIT trauma doctors, a critical care paramedic, the Trust’s Hazardous Area Response Team (HART) and the Midlands Air Ambulance Critical Care Car from Cosford responded to a medical emergency at 9.
45pm yesterday, Tuesday, December 3. Following a thorough search, no patient was found and medics were stood down. While the British Transport Police said that officers also attended the scene off Croxdene Avenue.
But no-one was found and the incident was classified as a "hoax." Officers attended along with paramedics, however no one was found and the incident was classified as a hoax." An ambulance service spokeswoman added: "We were called to a medical emergency at Bloxwich train station on Croxdene Avenue at around 9.45pm.
