The airline experienced an impressive 40% year-on-year increase in passenger numbers , flying over 6 million travelers during the year.
This achievement underscores HK Express’s pivotal role in the recovery and resurgence of global air travel. The airline celebrated its best single-day performance on December 31, 2024 , by carrying a staggering 35,015 passengers across its network. This number not only shattered its previous single-day record but also marked a significant leap from the 23,940 passengers carried on the same day in 2023.
Recognizing this phenomenal growth, OAG , a leading global travel data provider, awarded HK Express the prestigious title of ‘Fastest Growing Airline of 2024.’ In a year filled with accomplishments, HK Express and Cathay Pacific together crossed another significant threshold.
