Prayagraj : The state govt has planned a cutting-edge website and mobile app-based water management system for the Maha Kumbh . This innovative approach aims at enhancing water management efficiency during the world's biggest religious and spiritual congregation. The system is a comprehensive solution that integrates the web portal, and app designed to monitor and report water levels at various predefined control points.
The system will collect and organise data in an easy-to-read format, helping officials make quick decisions during events like heavy rain or floods. This system is essential for managing the Maha Kumbh and future water-related needs. It will include features like efficient reporting, role-based access, alerts, notifications, and data analysis to monitor water level trends.
A GPS database will be created for these control points, which will also help in planning new ones based on their geographical locations. The system is developed by UP Electronics Corporation Limited (UPLC) in line with CM Yogi Adityanath's vision for a modern and well-managed Maha Kumbh. It will be used by the irrigation and water resources department.
