Former President Donald Trump's gaffe-laden speech that saw him detail violent deaths and complain of faked "cob" reports spurred mockery from critics who said his viewers appeared to be drifting. Trump's closing argument to Georgia Republicans at a campaign event Sunday night spurred much ridicule on social media as his critics mocked his unique speech and the impact it had on the crowd. "This dude in the gold hat looks like he's fighting the will to nod off," Justin Baragona wrote on X.

He shared three pictures of a man leaning his head back and focusing his gaze intently on Trump . "The young women behind Trump are struggling," wrote independent journalist Aaron Rupar . He shared video that shows a young woman bringing her hand to her mouth as another checks her phone.

Rupar noted the young women appeared equally unimpressed with Trump's warnings of what he said immigrant gang members had done in Long Island, New York. "Trump's 'beautiful 16-year-old girls getting sliced up by knives' bit doesn't seem to be a huge hit," Rupar wrote. "Just watch the crowd," said Fred Wellman , sharing a video that shows a young woman jerking her head up when Trump made the latter mistake. Political pundit Michigan GOP Watch replied to that gaffe, "His brain is tapioca pudding." Rupar also not.
