The second annual Summer Blockfest is set to bring a full day of live hip-hop and R&B performances to Hoboken’s west side on Saturday, Aug. 10, with an emphasis on young, emerging artists and a family-friendly atmosphere that will include food, drinks and local vendors spreading out over the mall at 770 Jackson St. Last year’s inaugural event enjoyed beautiful weather and a day of peaceful enjoyment and good vibes.
Mother Nature may force this year’s event to move to its Aug. 31 rain date, but, either way, the impressive lineup promises an outstanding event..
