Penn State’s football program has an opportunity to close out 2024 in impressive fashion. James Franklin’s Nittany Lions are prohibitive favorites against Boise State in the Dec. 31 Fiesta Bowl.
Penn State’s 38-10 victory over SMU was the Lions’ 12th win of the season. Only four PSU teams have won 12 games in a season, the 1973, 1986, 1994 and 2024 teams. Merry Christmas! I always get sad at the end of the regular season knowing we have to wait a whole year for meaningful PSU football again, so I'm thankful for the "gift" of extra games this year.
