and it happened. Moderators Margaret Brennan and Norah O’Donnell were forced to cut off the microphones in a moment that stemmed from Vance ‘s claims about Haitian immigrants in Springfield, Ohio. Keep reading to find out more.

During the VP debate, Vance referred to the immigrants as “illegal aliens.” While the moderators said they wouldn’t be fact checking, Brennan clarified that many of the Haitian immigrants in Ohio are there legally. “The rules were that you guys weren’t going to fact check,” Vance said while continuing to take time to attempt to prove his point.
He continued to go over on his time and was asked to stop talking. Walz started to chime in too..
