LYXE began as a side project to singer/guitarist Ryan Wise’s main band, The Sluts, but has evolved into a sizeable draw with its highly danceable pop rock songs. ” Named after his birth name Jeremy Biddle, the record is Yung Bleu’s most personal album yet, addressing the 2022 shooting he was involved in and his breakup with his ex-wife. Texas Hippie Coalition with Kurt Deimer, Samhain Saints, Gravestone, The Tale Untold, and Till Hell, 6:30 p.m.
Saturday, Bourbon Theatre. Red Dirt metalists Texas Hippie Coalition are back in Lincoln on Saturday. THC (get it?) is pushing its third album “Peacemaker,” the best-recorded example of its metal that mixes in some outlaw country and Southern rock.

It’s rock ‘n’ roll time at Duffy’s on Saturday when Kansas City’s The Sounds of Many brings its high-energy, psychedelic garage rock to Lincoln’s longest-running rock venue. Beautiful Freaks with Size Queen and Dirty Talker, 6 p.m.
Sunday, Duffy’s Tavern Seattle’s Beautiful Freaks delivers punk at another generational shift. Defiantly gender queer, the band, which moved to Seattle from Bellingham’s Western Washington University during the pandemic blends glam rock, hardcore punk, sludgy grunge and metal’s intensity, along with some jazz sensibility. m. Tuesday, Duffy’s Tavern . Indiana’s Leisure Hour is a three-piece emo indie outfit that has made some waves in the Midwest touring small venues with a loud show, flashy looks and some good songs from its debut album “The Sunnyside.
” Idaho country band Tylor & The Train Robbers will play in Lincoln on Wednesday at the 1867 Bar. Tylor & The Train Robbers, 7 p.m.

After 10 years together, Idaho country band Tylor & The Train Robbers, which is anchored by three brothers, appears to have avoided the sibling conflict that has famously crippled the likes of The Kinks, Oasis and Black Crowes. Instead, they’ve built a strong following for their roots/country Americana that, on “Hum of the Road,” the band's new album, ranges from rock anthems to country swing, psychedelia and folk ballads.
