Raye is quickly becoming one of the biggest artists in the UK, but lucky fans are in with a chance of seeing her live — for free. While the rest of the world focuses on the Oasis reunion , the Prada singer has quietly announced a concert at London ’s Shepherd’s Bush Empire venue. Already Raye has secured herself as an icon with her six Brit award wins in 2023, breaking the record for most wins and nominations in a single night.

She recently opened for Taylor Swift at Wembley and has been mentioned in the running to sing the next James Bond theme song thanks to her soulful vocals. Raye is hot off her sold-out tour around the UK but will take to the stage on September 23 for a small concert in connection with O2 Priority and Virgin Media. The one-night-only show is not just an intimate gig with one of the most loved vocalists in the country — it’s also totally free.

Raye shared: ‘I am so grateful to every single human being who chooses to listen to my music and I wanted to put on this Priority show with O2 as a thank you for all the love and support this year. ‘It’s going to be a beautiful evening, lots of love and see you soon.’ How to get free tickets Customers of O2 Priority and Virgin Media broadband will be able to enter a ballot to secure one of 750 totally free tickets to the gig.

Those who have looked at Raye tickets before via the Priority app have been offered an exclusive chance to grab tickets before other fans. This early access will run for 48 hours, then the ticket access will be widened out to anyone with Priority access both in app and on the website . Soaring ticket prices have been a huge talking point among fans of late with some artists charging upwards of £240 for nosebleed seats.

With the Oasis reunion chatter, fans are concerned that ticket prices will be through the roof — with a reported start point of £100. Free gigs are few and far between so these will likely be snatched up quickly, especially for an artist like Raye. Gareth Griffiths, Director of partnerships and sponsorship at Virgin Media O2 , called it the ‘year of Raye’ when praising the singer ahead of the show.

He added: ‘Who better to play our next Priority Gig than the record-breaking superstar herself? The intimacy of O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire plus Raye’s star power guarantees every single fan a night to remember.
