Tuesday, January 21, 2025 Prague Airport experienced significant growth in 2024, handling 16,353,522 passengers and performing 134,609 aircraft take-offs and landings. This marked an impressive 18% year-on-year increase, making 2024 the third-highest year for passenger traffic in the airport’s history. The airport’s collaboration with airlines resulted in the operation of 41 new routes and direct connections to 181 destinations globally.

Jiří Pos, Chairman of the Prague Airport Board of Directors, highlighted the achievements, noting a high average aircraft occupancy rate of over 83%, emphasizing environmental efficiency and economic benefits for the Czech Republic. Looking ahead to 2025, Prague Airport aims to surpass previous records, projecting 18.4 million passengers, driven by expanded air connections and competitive policies.
