Heinz has launched a brand new and unique sauce flavour in time for Halloween - and crisp-lovers cannot believe it. Foodies have been going wild since Heinz confirmed its collaboration with Monster Munch. The pickled onion mayonnaise sauce, said to be "scarily good", rolled out in UK supermarkets last Friday (September 20) The new sauce is inspired by one of Monster Munch's most popular flavours since its launch in the '70s.
Sharing an announcement on Instagram , a spokesperson for Heinz said: "Say hello to [Scarily] Good Monster Munch Mayo, our limited-edition treat that will haunt your taste buds.. in the best way possible.
Move aside, pumpkin spice — this is the new star of spooky season and a Halloween party essential." Heinz says the sauce is perfect to add to any snack platter this Halloween. Thiago Rapp, director of taste elevation at Kraft Heinz, said: "This mayo is the ultimate flavour mash-up that will add a tangy twist to any dish.
" The concoction reflects the firm’s "dedication to pushing boundaries and exploring new, bold flavours that appeal to modern palates," he added. The RRP is £2.40 but Heinz says it is giving retailers price discretion.
The announcement has sent fans into a frenzy. Sharing their excitement on Heinz' Instagram page, one individual said: "Monster Munch sandwich with Monster Munch mayo, my prayers have been answered." Another wrote: "I've not even tried it and I know this is the best thing you've ever made.
