Details about Formula One champion Michael Schumacher’s condition have resurfaced following his first public appearance in over a decade at his daughter Gina-Maria’s wedding. Schumacher, considered one of the greatest drivers in the sport’s history, has largely remained out of the public eye since suffering a traumatic head injury in a skiing accident in 2013. The seven-time world champion underwent life-saving surgeries before spending six months in a coma, after which he was transferred to private care at his family’s Lake Geneva residence.

Since then, his wife Corinna and a dedicated team of medical professionals have provided him with constant care, fiercely guarding his privacy. On Saturday, Schumacher was in attendance as Gina-Maria, 27, married Iain Bethke in a private ceremony at the Schumacher family’s luxury Mallorca villa. Although German media confirmed Schumacher’s presence, no photos of the Ferrari icon were released.



Guests were required to leave their mobile phones at the entrance to ensure the family’s privacy. Speculation about the extent of Schumacher’s injuries has persisted for years. In 2020, Elisabetta Gregoraci, the ex-wife of Flavio Briatore, who manages Alpine F1, claimed that Schumacher is unable to speak and communicates through non-verbal methods.

“Michael doesn’t speak, he communicates with his eyes,” Gregoraci said on Italy’s Big Brother. “Only three people can visit him and I know who they are.” She also revealed tha.
