HEART EVANGELISTA – Kapuso star and Senate Spouses Foundation, Inc. (SSFI) president Heart Evangelista led the relief mission for typhoon Kristine victims in Batangas. Despite her busy schedule filled with brand engagements and other commitments, the fashion icon participated in distributing relief goods through this humanitarian effort organized by SSFI.
Heart shared some photos from the relief operations on her Instagram, where she was joined by other SSFI officers, including incumbent Cavite District 2 Representative Lani Mercado-Revilla, Nancy Dela Rosa, wife of Senator Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa, and DSWD Undersecretary Emmeline Aglipay-Villar, wife of Senator Mark Villar. The group also extended relief operations to the towns of Talisay and Laurel in Batangas. Heart expressed her sympathy for those affected by the recent typhoon and promised continued support to fellow Filipinos in need.
As the First Lady of Senate President Francis “Chiz” Escudero, she shared, “Kami po sa SSFI ay may binitiwang pangako na sa abot ng aming makakaya ay aalalay at tutugon kami sa ating mga kababayang nangangailangan. “Nandito po kami ngayon at tumutugon sa inyong kalagayan, pansamantala man lamang ang maihahatid naming tulong, sana po sa pamamagitan nito ay malaman ninyo na hindi kayo nag-iisa sa inyong dinaraanan ngayon. “Sa inyo pong lahat na dumadaan sa pagsubok mula sa matinding pinsalang iniwan ng bagyo, nasa likod niyo po kami, nasa inyo po ang aming panalangin at pagsu.
