No two story, combat, or exploration missions are the same in Zenless Zone Zero. Where one might have you taking on foes weak to Ice, another could pit you against enemies especially vulnerable to Ether or Fire. Naturally, since each character has their own elemental affinity, you’ll want to create a team that can exploit these enemy weaknesses.

Unfortunately, unlike most other ARPGs, Zenless Zone Zero does not have team loadouts, so you have to manually switch each character out when composing a squad. This was a dilemma I found myself facing while recently running a Chapter 2 story commission with Electric and Ether-recommended attributes. Before starting the mission, I initially had Ellen, Corin, and Soukaku as my main squad because, let’s face it, they’re one of the .

But since none of them had the right attributes, I had to switch Ellen and Soukaku out for Anby and Nicole to cover all the bases. After finishing the commission, I went to the HIA to use up all my energy. So naturally, I had to switch them back again.

After multiple slightly frustrated button presses, I began thinking about how much more seamless Zenless Zone Zero would be if it had a team loadouts feature. Instead of having to select every single character to switch them out, you’d only need to press a single button to pick a pre-built team. Want to use your main group of Ellen, Soukaku, and Lycaon? Press loadout 1! Want to drill your way to victory with a Belobog Industries squad? Select loadout 2.

Unsurprisingly, the Zenless Zone Zero community similarly agrees that team loadouts would do wonders for the game, based on a Reddit post from user . Unfortunately, HoYoverse hasn’t revealed whether or not they plan on adding this feature in a future patch. So, for now, we’ll have to wait for an official announcement from the developers—that is, if they eventually decide to add it to the game.
