Friday, August 30, 2024 Hard Rock Casino Rockford, a $300 million investment, officially opened its doors at 3:00 PM on Thursday following an illustrious grand opening event. This 175,000-square-foot casino is conveniently situated off the I-90 State Street exit in Rockford. The expansive venue features nearly 1,300 slot machines, 50 live table games including poker, a sportsbook, and a 1,600-seat Hard Rock Live entertainment space that is already attracting world-class talent.

Guests can enjoy a variety of dining options with seven distinct eateries ranging from casual to upscale. The Rock Shop offers custom Hard Rock branded merchandise, while the casino showcases authentic music memorabilia, each piece telling a unique story in entertainment history. The grand opening was highlighted by a star-studded lineup, including Rockford native and Cheap Trick guitarist Rick Nielsen, Illinois Governor J.
