Harry was born on June 17, 1932, in Chios, Greece, to Stellios and Kyriaki (Mamounas) Mirones. In 1963, Harry embarked on a new journey, moving to the United States to build a successful and respected career as a restaurateur. He Haralambos "Harry" Mirones, 92, of Valatie, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 19, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.

Harry was born on June 17, 1932, in Chios, Greece, to Stylianos and Kyriaki (Mamounas) Mirones. In 1963, Harry embarked on a new journey, moving to the United States to build a successful and respected career as a restaurateur. He opened and operated several beloved establishments throughout the Hudson Valley, becoming known for his warmth, generosity, and dedication to his community.



One of his proudest accomplishments was his time at Four Brothers Pizza in Valatie, a local institution. In 1978, Harry married the love of his life, Kassiani "Casia", and together they built a beautiful life rooted in love, family, and service to others. His kindness, caring nature, and selflessness were known to all who crossed his path, though he was equally fearless and brave in the face of challenges.

Harry is survived by his devoted wife, Casia, and their three daughters: Eleni (Dimitris) of East Chatham, NY, Kyra (Dimitris) of Roxboro, NC, and Stella (Christopher) of Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. He was a proud grandfather to his cherished grandchildren: Maria, Kostas, Kylie, Christian, and Alexander. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Aristotelis, Antonis, and his sister, Stamatia.

Family and friends are invited to The Saint Sophia Greek Orthodox Church (440 Whitehall Road, Albany, NY) on Monday, September 23, 2024, from 10 to 11 for an hour of visiting. A funeral service will be held in honor of Harry's life beginning at 11a.m.

Interment will follow at Graceland Cemetery (680 Delaware Ave. Albany, NY). In lieu of flowers, the family would request donations to be to sent to The Saint Sophia Greek Orthodox Church.

Harry will be remembered for his enduring love for his family, his lasting impact on the community, and his unwavering spirit. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him..
