The event brought together distinguished guests and representatives from the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, the Chinese Embassy in the UK, China National Tourist Office London, and the World Travel Market, underscoring its global significance. The conference, themed “Happy Chinese New Year – Charm of Jiangsu,” celebrated the cultural and natural allure of Jiangsu, a region fondly known as the “land of fish and rice.
” The event highlighted Jiangsu’s unique identity through immersive cultural experiences. A standout performance included a British singer’s rendition of the beloved Jiangsu folk song “Jasmine Flower,” alongside a traditional Chinese music ensemble’s presentation of “Moonlit Night on the Spring River.” These enchanting performances transported the audience to Jiangsu’s rich cultural heritage, showcasing its elegance and tranquility through the universal medium of art.
