Wednesday, August 21, 2024 Hamad International Airport (DOH) has achieved a significant milestone in July 2024, recording its busiest month ever with an impressive 4.73 million passengers passing through its terminals. This remarkable achievement represents a 10.

2% increase compared to July of the previous year, further solidifying the airport’s status as a leading global aviation hub. The surge in passenger traffic can be attributed to several key factors. The airport’s airline partners increased their flight frequencies to accommodate the heightened demand during the summer travel season.



Qatar Airways, the national carrier, expanded its network of destinations and introduced seasonal summer routes, significantly enhancing the airport’s connectivity. Additionally, total aircraft movements in July saw a 3.9% increase compared to the previous month, reflecting the heightened activity at the airport.

The load factor, which indicates the percentage of seats filled on flights, reached 82.8%, showcasing the efficient utilization of available capacity.
