Speaking with Comicbook , Berry, 58, revealed Lively, 36, once approached her at a Marc Jacobs fashion show and asked if she would ever consider playing Storm again for her husband's latest film.

Berry said she would if he presented her with the offer - but apparently Reynolds, 47, never did. 'Blake [Lively] asked me one time, I ran into her at a Marc Jacobs fashion show, and she said, "Would you ever be in my husband's movie as Storm?" I said, "Yeah, if he asked me," but he never asked me,' she said. DailyMail.

The new film stars Ryan as Deadpool and Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, Halle's co-star in the X-Men series.

Deadpool & Wolverine were released July 26 and stars Reynolds as the foul-mouthed hero and Hugh as Wolverine. Reynolds' wife Lively even makes an appearance as Lady Deadpool. Berry starred opposite Jackman in four of the X-Men films - X-Men: Days of Future Past, X-Men: The Last Stand, X2: X-Men United, and X-Men.

Halle has been busy promoting another new film she stars in - her new Netflix movie The Union. The Union stars Mark Wahlberg as Mike, a down-to-earth construction worker based in New Jersey, while Berry plays his high school sweetheart, Roxanne. The Julian Farino-directed action-thriller follows Mike as he goes from a regular guy to an aspiring spy when his long-lost love recruits him for a high-stakes intelligence espionage mission.

Production for the movie initially began in March 2022 and took place across several stunning locations, including London, New Jersey, and Piran in Slovenia. The film, which has been described as a 'blue-collar James Bond' movie and has Wahlberg as a co-producer, was initally titled Our Man From Jersey. Two years later, The Union will premiere on August 16 and will be available to stream on Netflix.
