During a to the area on Wednesday, Qureshi, accompanied by Member Umar Farooq Dar, assessed the availability of land and reviewed cleanliness issues. The park's construction will not only meet the local demand but also put an end to the practice of dumping waste in the community.
Dar emphasized that the park's establishment is a long-held mission, and measures are being taken in collaboration with the district administration and PHA. He highlighted the need to transform the identified area, currently a dumping ground, into a beautiful park to prevent the spread of diseases and enhance the area's aesthetics. The Deputy Commissioner instructed the DGPHA and CEOGWMC to take the necessary steps to establish the park, which will be equipped with facilities and fulfill legal requirements.
