A teacher-turned-fitness instructor is preparing for her group's "biggest ever" challenge to help vulnerable parents. Alice Burnham, from Harwood, runs Family Inclusive Training (F.I.
T) studio, which offers mums and babies a holistic space to socialise and get moving safely after giving birth. She set up the Spring Vale Street studio in Tottington almost five years ago after having her own children and struggling to find an inclusive space to work out. Alice said: “There aren’t many fitness spaces where parents can bring their babies and toddlers along while they train and I wanted to fill that gap.

” They host several classes and events, from F.I.T Round My Baby, where parents can incorporate children into the workout, to solo adult-only boot camps.
Alice added: “We have child-safe equipment such as soft barbells with the heavy stuff in a completely different space. It’s all about flexibility and helping mums get out of the house. “We can support parents from six weeks post-partum all the way up while helping them have fun and bond.
“It’s always nice seeing the babies who have grown up with it start to mimic the moves, it’s a natural thing for them to do after a while.” Alice and her team are hosting an eve.
