A tree-lined street in Greater Manchester has been named amongst the 'most attractive' in the UK. Running through the pretty village of Hale to the bustling market town of Altrincham , Hale Road has been recognised for its charming and 'expensive-looking' appearance as well as the desirability to live and invest there. Experts at Sell House Fast surveyed 1,000 people across the UK to find out which street was the best to live on based on several factors.

According to the research, Hale Road was voted the 'most attractive', 'most expensive' street in our region, with a high percentage of respondents saying that they’d most like to live there. Noted for its variety of properties , from traditional Victorian and Edwardian houses to modern, luxury developments, the leafy road has become more sought-after over the last few years, with property prices rising by 22 percent since the peak of £743,312 in 2019. Homes on Hale Road now have an average house price of £905,438, according to Rightmove.

Terraces sold for an average of £629,250, whilst semi-detached homes fetched around £1,155,000. As well as the attractiveness of its homes, Hale Road is conveniently located between the popular areas of Hale and Altrincham, which each have great local amenities that attract people .
