has announced its season 10 winner. Each week, host alongside judges Patrick Grant and Esme Young have whittled down a fresh batch of 12 contestants to a final three with a series of challenges to test their sewing skills. Ailsa Lyall, Luke-Matthew Iveson, and Pascha went head-to-head for the chance to be named , with the 2024 champion named in last night's (July 24) episode.
The final episode of saw the three crafters tasked with making opera gloves, with Luke impressing the judges with his fine craftsmanship with the delicate fabrics. It was Pascha, however, who received glowing feedback during the transformation challenge where they had to turn miscellaneous party objects into a stunning outfit. The Made to Measure challenge had the final three creating a full outfit by draping fabric onto models, with coming out on top and being announced as the season 10 Sewing Bee champion.
Following his win, he said: "Honestly, this doesn't seem real. Never did I think I would get to the final let alone winning. This is just wild.
All I expected was to get a hug off Patrick, but to have the campest trophy ever, I am going to remember this forever. "I feel so proud of myself and I don’t tend to say that a lot, but yes, I am proud of myself." Judge Esme said they were "so happy" Luke won, adding: "They were so creative and imaginative and got better and better.
" reported what is next for Luke, with the reality TV star sharing how the competition pushed him to his limits as a creative. "I don't know what is next for me in the sewing world, but I want to carry on trying new things, sew stuff I never thought I’d try," he said. "I’d love to get more into costume design and push the limits of the drag garments I make.
I also really want to explore ways in making sewing more inclusive and accessible. He added: "And next for me personally, Jesus and I are planning our wedding in Gran Canaria in 2025. It will be small with family and friends in a beautiful setting.
So next on the agenda are the wedding outfits, and I have started drafting the patterns already!".
