STILLWATER, OKLA. – West Virginia dominated Oklahoma State in nearly every fashion Saturday at Boone Pickens Stadium, scoring an impressive 38-14 victory. The win at OSU gets West Virginia (4-2/2-0) off to a strong start in what figures to be a tough four-week stretch with home games against Iowa State on Oct.
12 (8 p.m. on FOX) and Kansas State on Oct.
19 plus a road trip to Arizona on Oct 26. OK State (3-3/0-3) gets a break this coming week with a bye before returning to action at BYU on Friday, Oct. 18.
Atmosphere at Boone Pickens Stadium – Saturday was very hot in Stillwater with temperatures reaching 89 degrees by the mid-afternoon kickoff. WVU planned ahead for such weather conditions, though, and had awnings installed over its bench area, which provided shade from the oppressive sun on the extremely tight sidelines at Boone Pickens Stadium. While Oklahoma State has sold out all its tickets for its home games this season, sometimes its attendance can be a little spotty.
