Grace Coddington, 83, the former creative director of Vogue, grew up on Anglesey, in the Trearddur Bay Hotel, which was run by her parents. She worked as a model in the Sixties but became a fashion editor after a car accident aged 26. She has worked at British Vogue, Calvin Klein and, from 1988 to 2016, American Vogue.
She lives in New York with her partner, Didier Malige, and three cats. I’m not the easiest of people to work with. I have very high standards.
