Grab your favourite trucker hat, your best mates and be prepared for a wild night, Brad Cox is touring Australia. Login or signup to continue reading The three time ARIA award nominated country star, who hails from Jindabyne, is a low-key guy who's simply looking forward to getting on stage and performing with his mates. His 'Everything I've Got' tour, features songs from his latest album, Acres, and bangers from his first two albums, and some brand new unreleased songs on the set list.

Brad's fans are loud and faithful, and many have supported him since his Star Maker win at the Tamworth Country Music Festival back in 2018. "They're enthusiastic, dedicated, f*****g loyal is one thing. That's something I don't take for granted because it's rare, I've got a really, really kind of healthy core fan base that they just turn up multiple shows on tours," he said.

They're enthusiastic, dedicated, f*****g loyal is one thing. That's something I don't take for granted because it's rare. "[Shows are] excited, crazy, noisy, that's our traditional kind of vibe and that's what people expect to be getting.

" Brad told The Illawarra Mercury he has been performing in the Illawarra since he was a school student at the annual Southern Stars extravaganza, as his Jindabyne school was part of the Illawarra catchment. His last local gig was in mid 2023 and his sell-out show at Anita's Theatre had people screaming, as they raised their drinks and arms into the air singing. "Playing live is the drug for me, it's the addiction," he said.

Last year's ARIA nominations, including for Best Australian Live Act, might be a testament to his growing success, but they're not what he's striving for. "It's cool but I've always said though, the awards, they don't blow my hair back. It's never been the goal, selling out a show like Anita's Theatre has always been the award for me, mate," he said.

Tickets are now on sale for the Everything I've Got tour and he's promised fans there will be some new "cheeky" Brad Cox merchandise available. "Look, times are tough, but I promise you you won't be disappointed," he said. "Come and hang out, you'll have the time of your life," he said.
