Goodship 50, 81 TORQUAY UNITED 2 Jenkins-Davies 45+3, Cooke 57 BRANDON Goodship’s 100th goal for Weymouth gave the Terras a deserved share of the points against Torquay United in a Boxing Day thriller at the Bob Lucas Stadium. National League South leaders Torquay twice led through Will Jenkins-Davies and Cody Cooke but two Goodship strikes pegged them back in a highly-entertaining 2-2 draw. The result also handed new boss Warren Feeney his first home point since joining.

Corey Jordan and Malachi Linton both came in, with Calvin Brooks (ankle) out and Jaiden Bartolo (knee) dropping to the bench. Euan Pollock was recalled, taking Brooks’ place in the squad.
Torquay came into the game as league leaders but struggled to impose themselves early on against a hungry Weymouth side. The Gulls could only muster a wayward Dan Hayfield shot from 20 yards before Weymouth stepped up their efforts.
