Richard Madeley got up and left the Good Morning Britain studio during the latest broadcast. And no, it wasn't a Piers Morgan-style storm-off, because Richard simply wanted to go outside and check if it was snowing. The UK has seen snow for the first time this winter, and even London got some of it on Tuesday morning (November 19).
And luckily for viewers, Richard was on hand to check on the snowfall, even if it meant he had to get up and leave his desk to do it. To his delight, it was "tipping down with snow" outside of the studios. As he returned to the studio, Susanna Reid joked: "Richard, are you reporting from the scene?" Richard announced: "It is absolutely tipping down with snow outside; it has just started about five minutes ago after you first spoke.
