Good Morning Britain' s Rob Rinder left his ITV colleagues gobsmacked as he took a swipe at one of the channel's major shows live on air. The 46-year-old criminal barrister and television personality was back on hosting duty alongside Kate Garraway on Friday (October 4) morning and the pair woke up the nation with the latest news headlines. Showbiz editor Richard Arnold presented his entertainment segment live from the Big Brother house ahead of the show's highly-anticipated return on Sunday (October 6) evening live on ITV2.
Richard gave viewers a sneak peek at the interior of the most famous house in Britain and was joined in the kitchen by last year's winner Jordan Sangha, who opened up about his own experience. As Richard wrapped up his chat with Jordan, Rob told viewers that he "will not be watching" the reality show when it returns to ITV this weekend. Kate went on to point out: "Are you not a fan?" and competition host Andi Peters joked: "If you're not here next Friday then we know why" in reference to Big Brother airing on the same channel as Good Morning Britain .
It comes after the news that the launch show of Big Brother has been plunged into chaos with both presenters being hit by illness. AJ Odudu and Will Best are suffering from their own individual ailment. Will has confessed that AJ has "lost her voice" while he is suffering with a "stiff neck" as the pair battle to be healthy in time for their second season fronting the iconic reality TV offering on ITV2.
