Friday, November 8, 2024 Jason Kuiper, director of instruction at The Grand Slam Golf Academy, the cutting-edge training hub at Atlanta’s Bobby Jones Golf Course, earns yet another accolade. Kuiper has secured a spot on Golf Digest’s prestigious Best Young Teachers list for the second consecutive time. This renowned bi-annual list spotlights the brightest up-and-coming golf instructors under 40.
“Jason Kuiper’s vision and passion for helping golfers of all ages and backgrounds improve their game has been instrumental in advancing one of our Foundation’s core pillars: introducing the game to new golfers,” said Joshua Deal, Bobby Jones Golf Course general manager. “Under Jason’s leadership, The Grand Slam Golf Academy and its programming have become a shining example of how golf and great people can make a difference and help inspire a community.” Kuiper was honored as the Georgia Section PGA Teacher of the Year in 2020 and earned the prestigious US Kids Golf “Top 50” Teacher Award in 2019.
From 2020 to 2023, he was celebrated as one of GRAA’s Top 100 Growth of Game Professionals. Additionally, he received the PGA of America’s distinguished #GameChanger award from 2020 to 2023 for establishing one of the nation’s 25 largest PGA Junior League programs. “Being named a Golf Digest Best Young Teacher for the second consecutive time is just an incredible honor,” says Kuiper.
