The French musical crime comedy Emilia Perez is the most nominated film with 10 nominations and the psychological crime drama The Bear is the most nominated television series with five nominations. The Golden Globes 2025 will air live on CBS and can be streamed on Paramount+ on Sunday, January 5, 2025 at 5 pm PT/8 pm ET. It's an exciting moment for India as the multiple award-winning film All We Imagine As Light has received two nominations. Directed by Payal Kapadia, All We Imagine As Light has been nominated for the Best Foreign Language Film. It will be competing against Emilia Pérez (France), The Girl with the Needle (Denmark), I'm Still Here (Brazil), The Seed of the Sacred Fig (Germany), and Vermiglio (Italy).
Kapadia herself has been nominated in the Best Director category. Her fellow nominees are Jacques Audiard for Emilia Pérez, Sean Baker for Anora, Coralie Fargeat for The Substance, Edward Berger for Conclave, and Brady Corbet for The Brutalist. Payal is the first Indian filmmaker to get nominated for the Best Director at Golden Globes.
