A West Broadway resident called child welfare authorities on Saturday after seeing a female child playing beside a trio of homeless adults injecting what she believed to be illegal drugs and believes the little girl is still at risk. Pat McNorgan told the authorities that around 4 p.m.

on Saturday, the three adults “were openly injecting drugs while the child played around them. The male of the group, dressed in black with a hoodie and red shoes, had on rubber gloves, a glass meth pipe and rubber tubing. They proceeded to do their thing.



“I called CFS and talked to them,” says McNorgan, who described the open fires, explosions and violence in Mostyn Park in The Sun on Oct. 31. “These people seldom remained on site for very long and (I said) that it would behoove them to investigate in a timely fashion.

” It took about 90 minutes before police came, and “in the interim, the occupants had packed, taken down the tent and vacated. “The police arrived in the dark and looking around, found nothing.” The Sun asked CFS what steps are being taken to find the toddler, an emailed response from the agency stated, “The General Child and Family Services Authority is unable to provide comment on this.

” According to McNorgan, “This was the third time I had called them about the child but they did not indicate that they had any previous calls about her.” In late October McNorgan said there was “a small child living in a tent in the back of 37 Balmoral. Looked to be ab.
